We are thrilled to resume #FeatureFriday, our biweekly series that highlights grantees funded through our annual grant program.
Thanks to the generous support of our 2021 Fierce & Fabulous Soirée sponsors, attendees and donors, Houston PetSet was able to provide $300,000 to organizations working to help Greater Houston animals in need.
Before we begin diving into the individual profiles this year, we want to share some collective facts about this amazing group of organizations:
- $27.5M in total spending ForTheAnimals
- 205,500 people helped
- 100,000+ animals helped
- 2,600+ volunteers
- 2,100+ fosters
The only fact that makes these statistics even more impressive is that 50 of these organizations have no paid staff – they are all-volunteer, with many working full-time jobs in addition to the hours they dedicate to helping our community. As we often say, it’s frightening to imagine what our city would look like without their tireless work.
