Just a few days ago, Teddy, pictured here, tried so hard to defend himself while being attacked by a pig in Chambers County, but the encounter left him with severe lacerations to the face. Fortunately, a nearby hunter saw him on the banks of a marsh and called local animal control.

Without the resources needed to properly care for Teddy, Helping Paws in Chambers County called on Houston PetSet to ask if we would take him in and get him to the vet immediately.

Yesterday, Teddy became the latest member of the Houston PetSet family. So far, saving this adorable chow mix has cost us $1,000 (and counting). Would you donate to Teddy so we can help him recover and find his forever home? To make a gift visit http://bit.ly/3rlFoDz.

Teddy is also in need of a foster who can help him heal and come out of his shell. Could that be you? Email marketing@houstonpetset.org for more information. Thank you for your continued support of our efforts #ForTheAnimals, and deserving souls like Teddy’s.
