Poor Rose was either dumped or left behind by a hog hunter in a marsh in Chambers County. Lucky for her, a local animal control officer pulled her out of the water after receiving a call about a skinny dog that was seen scavenging for food. The constant wet conditions caused a bacterial infection in her feet, as you can see in the photos here.
Our amazing partners at Animal Humane Society told us to put her on the big red bus and they’d help her heal back to 100% while they find her forever home. We are so blessed to have such incredible teammates working with us #ForTheAnimals!
