Houston Humane Society Pet Food Pantry
In response to the high need, the Houston Humane Society has increased the number of offered pet food pantry time slots and will be serving families from 10AM – 3PM at 14700 Almeda Rd, Houston 77053. Appointments are required, click here to book.
Details: When you arrive to the shelter for your scheduled pickup time, you will see signs in the parking lot that say “Pet Pantry Parking”. You will park in an empty spot and text the number on the sign to let them know you are here. The food will be brought to your car, please do not get out of your car.
To donate to the Houston Humane Society Pantry: HHS relies on the generosity of residents and businesses to keep their pantry stocked.
Donations can be dropped by their shelter at 14700 Almeda Road, Houston, Texas 77053.
Friends for Life Drive-Thru Pet Clinic and Food Bank
By appointment only.
If you need pet food outside of the scheduled event dates, call 713-863-9835 to make an appointment for a food pickup.

Offering: vaccinations, flea/heartworm preventative, pet food
Drive up, stay in your car (to keep social distance), hand over your pet in a carrier, and let their vet treat your animal in a mobile adoption vehicle parked outside. Friends for Life does not income qualify, but please bring an ID for their records.
Need food? Let them know and they’ll bring it to your car from their Pet Food Bank.

Lone Star Pet Lodges
Lone Star Pet Lodges is offering free doggie day care and free pet boarding for first responders, hospital workers, Army Corps of Engineers and mobilized National Guard. Houston Dog Ranch
The Houston Dog Ranch has available boarding space for animals in need. Services offered include a room for the dog, quality care giving, behavioral assessment and training. Rates are flexible. RedRover Relief Grant Program
The RedRover Relief Emergency Boarding grant program helps animals who need temporary boarding while their owners are hospitalized due to the COVID-19 virus. This grant will cover the cost of up to two (2) weeks of boarding while a pet owner is hospitalized. Once the application is submitted, responses will be sent by email or phone within one business day.
